What?

A place for anyone inclined to partake of my infrequent musings in human and machine language. If you drop me a line be prepared to wait.

There’s also some essential links and a glossary.

Who?

I am Αριστοτέλης Παγκαλτζής (Aristotle Pagaltzis in English).

I write code when I can’t help it. I speak when the words come. I observe.

When I hack, it is a curious mix. Functional and linguistic, obsessing over expression. I like Perl and Javascript. But I like them all. I have dabbled in others’ Python and Ruby. In my own time I enjoy XSLT and sometimes C, as I have assembler and Forth and Postscript and make. SQL, yes, I don’t know if I enjoy that, but in a way, oh boy. I have dreamt of Haskell and dipped my toe in Go. There is Pascal in my past and BASIC, more than one. And dozens of languages more that line my ways, come then gone too quickly for memory (mere echoes). May there be hundreds yet. Only one thing they should all share, that the code be libre.

Where?

Oh, the domain. Memorabilia from my Quake years. Coined on German game servers, and now it feels right that way.
