Small ironies

Ironic that a redesign of the site of the Web Standards Project of all things would move the newsfeed from http://www.webstandards.org/buzz/buzz.xml to http://www.webstandards.org/feed/ without a 301 redirect. Meh.
On the other hand, they do have an Atom 1.0 feed now, a format which can reasonably claim to be standard. Feed’s fulltext, too, unlike the old one; good times.
Errm, it’s the current WordPress default: Atom 0.3 – which is not a standard, and is in fact deprecated. I actually checked before I wrote the entry, then somehow managed to misremember within 2 minutes. I don’t know how I pulled off this feat.
